“Meditation allows one to connect with their true nature. It provides an access to calm abiding and compassion toward oneself and others.”

Gene Dole was introduced to Tibetan Buddhism when he was an anthropology student in Ohio. In 1974, he was on the anthropology team that discovered “Lucy” in Ethiopia. His travels took him to every state in the U.S. and many, many international experiences.

Like many others, Gene says that work stress got him into meditation. After he retired in Florida, he became active with the Blue Lotus monastics.

Beginning with the Covid Pandemic through today, Gene and another volunteer open the BLBMC Zoom line for online meditations. This meditation is done in silence without instruction.
