Buddhist Perspective on Death and Dying

Venerable Nugegalayaye  Ginananda Thero was born in Sri Lanka in 1980. He became a monk in 1993 and received his higher ordination in 2000. 

He received his BA degree in Sri Lanka after finishing his primary education at a monk's school and later an MA degree from Wilfrid Laurie University, Canada, in Religion and Culture. 

He came to Canada in 2003 as the deputy abbott at the Hilda Jayawardanaramay in Ottawa, Canada.
